Tweets From The Storm: What New England Twitter-users Have Been Saying About Hurricane Irene

In addition to destroying trees, banging up boats and knocking out power, Tropical Storm Irene has been dominating the “Twittersphere. ” And while the hashtags #CTirene, #MAirene, #MEirene, #NHirene  and #RIirene were supposed to be reserved for official Irene-related updates and safety tips, several Twitter-users used these hashtags to express their thoughts and concerns.
