Princeton Review/Entrepreneur Magazine Rank Babson MBA #1 For Entrepreneurship
Posted by jcashmanFor the fourth year in a row Babson College has held onto the top spot for top undergraduate and graduate programs for entrepreneurship in the nation according to The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine.
Their MBA program is ranked #1 and their undergraduate program is ranked #2 in this survey, up from #3 last year and behind the University of Houston. Over the past five years, they have been at #1, #2 or #3 for entrepreneurship in this survey.
No other Massachusetts school made the 25 list!
The magazine profiles Professor and Entrepreneurship Chair Candy Brush in the story: Babson’s Candida Brush: Professor and Team Leader. Also highlighted are her former students Jill Cartwright (Go GaGa), Candice Cabe(Day2Night) and Caitlin Fenn (MySuperMe),
“Congratulations to faculty in all our academic disciplines for bringing their exceptional teaching and to our staff who do a great job working with our students. We remain firmly committed to this institution’s leadership in entrepreneurial education as measured by our own internal standards, as well as survey results — and we will continue to prepare Babson’s undergraduate and MBA students to create economic and social value everywhere,” said President Len Schlesinger.
In releasing the rankings, Princeton Review’s Senior Vice President Robert Franek said, “(Undergraduate) schools like Babson, that require students to have at least 50 percent of their course work focused on the liberal arts, are breaking the mold when it comes to preparing future entrepreneurs.”
“His comment underscores the importance of all Babson faculty in teaching the mindset and skills that are critical to educate entrepreneurial leaders of all kinds,” said President Schlesinger.
